For 6 days, I eat perfectly. Zero slip-ups. But from Saturday evening to Sunday evening, I allow myself to eat whatever. An emotional release. The best part of this setup is that I rarely cross any red lines — even considering that anything goes. For 6 days I ate perfectly, woke up before my alarm, felt amazing, balanced, and productive, and then on Sunday, after yesterday’s “whatever,” I feel completely wiped out. At that moment, the focus smoothly shifts from “I want to eat this…” to “I don’t want to deal with the consequences of my cravings, I want to feel great.” And so, meal by meal, by Sunday evening I’m already questioning what I want more: to wake up tomorrow wanting to smash through walls, or to wake up feeling like I got run over by a train.
